Hello world!

If you’re navigating chronic illness, unexplained symptoms, nervous system dysregulation, gut health challenges, or searching for answers, you’re not alone.
Here you’ll find encouragement, trusted resources, and the lessons I’m learning as I continue navigating my own health journey, one step at a time.
This isn’t a website that promises miracle cures. It’s a place to learn. To ask questions. To understand the connections between the body’s systems. To explore new research. To find encouragement on difficult days. And to help us remember that …
Every step you take toward understanding your health still counts.
Many people living with chronic symptoms spend years searching for answers. They’ve seen specialists, tried treatments, changed diets, researched late into the night, and wondered if they’re making ANY real progress.
I know that feeling because I’ve lived it.
This site exists to share what I’m learning, the research I’m exploring, what’s helped me, what hasn’t, and the questions I’m still asking.
Most importantly, it’s here to remind you that…
The rest counts.
The research counts.
The setbacks count.
The small victories count.
Because every step teaches us something.
Have you ever felt like:
✓ Your symptoms don’t fit neatly into one diagnosis?
✓ You’ve seen multiple doctors but still don’t have clear answers?
✓ Your tests are “normal” but you don’t feel normal?
✓ You’ve spent hours researching your symptoms?
✓ You’re exhausted from trying to figure it all out?
✓ You feel guilty for resting even when your body needs it?
I’ve been there too. For nearly a decade I’ve lived with chronic symptoms, uncertainty, changing diagnoses, and more questions than answers.
If my journey helps you feel less alone, ask a new question, or discover a path worth exploring, then this site has done exactly what I hoped it would.
Hi! I’m Carrie. In 2017, treatment for Lyme disease marked the beginning of a health journey I never expected.
Over the years that followed, I experienced digestive issues, chronic pain, neurological challenges, immune changes, fatigue, countless medical appointments, changing diagnoses, and more questions than answers.
Today, I’m still learning how infections, inflammation, gut health, the nervous system, the immune system, trauma, and lifestyle may all play a role in the body’s ability to heal.
I don’t have all the answers.
But I do have years of experience, research, lessons learned, and hope to share.
The walk counts.
The rest day counts.
The doctor appointment counts.
The journal entry counts.
The therapy session counts.
The meditation counts.
The research counts.
The questions count.
The healthy meal counts.
The boundary you set counts.
Even the things that didn’t work count, because they taught you something.
Every little thing you do … IT STILL COUNTS.
